With the new machine running, these are one of the new designs I’ve had in the works for over a year. They are finally available and I couldn’t be happier with them. One of the toughest metals on the planet. If you don’t lose it you’ll pass it down to your kid. Individually turned on a CNC and hand finished. Tough and versatile, these break away/quick releases are made to last a lifetime.

Why choose an Urban Carvers quick release? No one makes a quick release with magnets as strong as ours. No one guarantees them for life like I do. No other company has as good a quality as Urban Carvers’ Quick Release .

Neodymium magnets don’t require batteries, don’t wear out over time and require NO maintenance. Use them to organize and separate keys so you carry only what you need to. Leave your key in the ignition and separate the rest to reduce noise and wear on you ignition cylinder.

Life changer!

As someone who has to turn off their truck often to unlock things, this is a life changer. With beautiful blue anodization and titanium key rings, everything is as easy as separating 2 magnets. They aren’t noticeable in the pocket and you can even fidget with them. Very easy to install. Highly recommended.

Thanks Hobie!
You have basically described the origin story for our MQRs. I had multiple trucks (diesel) and equipment that I didn't like to have to shut off and restart to unlock a tool box. I wasn't happy with the ones I bought online so I made my own. Then other people wanted one... and here we are! Careful with the fidget factor. These are like a gateway drug to the fidget world.
Again, thanks for the support!
